Vacant block with a design by State of Kin
With plans designed by State of Kin and with a current Development Approval in place, careful consideration has been given to optimising the site and crafting a beautiful space to call home.
The Woolwich Street house was designed around three key principles; maximising natural light and ceiling heights to living spaces, creating flexible spaces with a variety of functions throughout the house and forming a strong connection to the park through the outdoor spaces and living areas.
Living spaces are arranged across the length of the ground floor, flowing seamlessly through to the courtyard and on to the park. Operable walls to the courtyard further allow for the house to connect with its park-side context.
Double height voids and skylights punctuate the upper floor to enhance the spatial qualities of the living areas below, connecting the two levels whilst bringing natural light into the centre of the home.
