Greenwich by Kevin Palassis Architects

Redesigned by architect Kevin Palassis of Palassis Architects in 2005, the Greenwich building won the Conservation Award for the adaptive re-use of the building in the 2005 Town of Vincent Building, Design and Conservation Awards.

Rich in history, the Deacons of Trinity Church decided to establish a Mission and purchased the two blocks of land where Greenwich now resides. The foundational stone of the Church was laid in 1903 by Reverend W. T. Kench and Sir Edward Stone with the first service held on 5th April 1903. A later amalgamation saw the Church become the Wasley Centre, named in honour of the Wasley family who had been involved with the Church since the foundation of the parish, including A.H. Wasley, who was a Deacon from 1905-1952.

With only 13 residences in total, Greenwich is an intimate complex and one that has been tightly held over the years. Located in one of the earlier buildings, this residence reflects its past, and features original stained glass windows.
