The Como is a great place to enjoy a drink in the beer garden or watch live music. Alternatively, watch the sunset and soak up the local Preston Street atmosphere at The Karalee.

Unique to this gorgeous precinct is the presence of the Perth Zoo. The Perth Zoo is proudly dedicated to conservation and houses a range of animal varieties from Africa, Asia, Australia and America. This is a great day out for the family and friends.

Fancy a movie? The Cygnet on Preston Street is a fine example of art deco architecture and is one of Perth’s oldest running theatres. This quaint little theatre is a wonderful place to enjoy an indie film or get together with a groups of friends or colleagues.

South Perth and Como both provide “village” like shopping precincts, with a range of independent boutiques, unassuming shop fronts and hidden gems throughout.

You’ll find fashion, accessories, flowers and beauty products on Mends Street, Angelo Street and Preston Street.
