What do you love about Perth culture?
The fact that we’re always behind puts our mentality ahead.
How would you describe your style and the men’s fashion scene in Perth?
My style is an on-going change, depends on my mood, my hairstyle, and my shoes. Perth’s fashion scene needs to change, we need to be more confident in rocking whatever we feel like without worrying about what others might think. Our mission with Cabinet Noir is to style our clients and make them feel good about wearing what they want to wear, give them a confident boost and show the world that Perth can start a trend.
What is your number one dining or night spot?
I don’t drink much, but when I do its always spontaneous, as long as there’s good company I dont mind drinking in the gutter or at the bar.
What is your go-to coffee spot?
Sorry not a coffee drinker, but my favourite tea spot currently is Jean Pierre Sancho just because they do great croissant and macarons.
What is your hidden gem in Perth?
Clarkes of North Beach still does the best pork belly dish!!! I havent been there in a while but when we do, we go straight into the degustation menu.
What can’t you live without?
Nothing materialistic. I’m pretty adaptable, like a cockroach.
What music are you listening to right now?
Clair de Lune by Flight Facilities
Who or what has inspired you recently?
I get inspired by the struggling individuals around the world. People growing up in poverty, people growing up with disabilities, and people achieving the impossible.
Where is your travel destination of choice?
Japan. Tokyo and Osaka. Best cities to shop, eat and relax (more so Osaka). Japanese people are so ahead in so many different ways its ridiculous how behind we are as a society. I don’t envy their working schedule though, too hectic.
If you could have a coffee with anyone in the world, who would it be?
Will Smith, Bruce Wayne, Bugs Bunny, and Wile E Coyote.
